What should I do if I think I've lost a book?
Answer
If you think you’ve lost a book, we strongly encourage you to conduct a thorough search at home, in your car, or any other place the item could be. It can be helpful to find an image of the cover art and spine, so you know exactly what you’re looking for.
If you’re sure the item is lost, let us know (via phone, email, live chat or in person). We’ll conduct three thorough library searches to confirm it wasn’t returned to us. If we’re not able to find the item, you will incur a charge.
Please note that if you find the item after you have paid charges or sourced a replacement copy, we will be unable to refund or reimburse you. You will, however, be entitled to keep the lost item.
