Can I use the library to watch films, documentaries, and television programmes?

Answer

Absolutely! You'll find a wide range of audio-visual material in the library.

You can access all our audio-visual content via Discovery. Simply follow the below steps:

  1. Type your search terms into the Discovery search box; you can use appropriate keywords, the title of a film, or the name of a director.
  2. To filter resources by format, utilise the left-hand pane to select the “Video” checkbox. Please note that this checkbox may not appear if your keywords do not apply to any of the audio-visual content in our collection – try another keyword or phrase.
  3. To borrow a DVD, follow the guidance available here.
  4. To access online content, click the blue “View now” button.
  5. On the subsequent page, click the blue “Sign in” button and type “University of Suffolk” into the search bar. Click go.
  6. You will be prompted to authenticate with your standard University of Suffolk credentials (S number and password).
