Do I have to record a session in Panopto?

Answer
You do not have to record a learning session, but it's certainly a good idea.
The advantages of doing so are:
- Students will be able to watch it back to revise their learning
- Students who were unable to make the live session will still benefit from watching it afterwards
- If you don't record it, your hard work is then lost
- It's much more accessible and flexible for students as they are more able to learn at a convenient time for them
You may be apprehensive about being recorded, but you're never expected to deliver a perfect session. Mistakes will happen. You can always clarify things afterwards, if needed.
